GUSTS of up to 50mph could hit parts of Rotherham this weekend as the latest named storm sweeps in.
Storm Brian is expected to causes high winds and heavy rain overnight on Saturday into Sunday, the Met Office said.
It will be the second named storm to hit the UK this winter, after Storm Aileen.
Forecasters said the worst of the storm was likely to be felt in Ireland where transport disruption was “likely”.
The Met Office said Saturday would be a “very windy day” and dry to begin with but showers would develop through the day becoming heavy and more frequent later.
Winds are expected to pick up on Saturday evening with gusts of up to 50mph possible overnight.
