Stop the War activists in Gaza protest
MORE than 80 people turned out in Rotherham to show their anger over Israel’s killing of people on an aid convoy to Gaza.
The demonstration called by Rotherham Stop the War Coalition and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign took place in All Saints’ Square on Saturday.
Protesters included Rotherham borough councillor and ex-mayor Shaukat Ali, while the borough council’s Cabinet member for community cohesion, Cllr Mahroof Hussain, made a speech to the crowd.
