Stolen shotgun found at cannabis grow in Kimberworth Park
Cannabis plants, air rifles and a shotgun were discovered in the raid.

A CANNABIS cultivation, three air rifles and a stolen shotgun were found in a raid at a property in Kimberworth Park.

Officers were called to a disturbance at the property in Simmonite Road at 1.20am yesterday morning (Wednesday).

Police seized 12 cannabis plants, three air rifles and a shotgun that had been stolen in 2014.

"A 28-year-old man from Rotherham was detained but has since been released under investigation," said a spokeswoman.

The grow was the third cannabis cultivation the Rotherham Central Neighbourhood Policing team has found in the last few days across the borough.
