Sprotbrough man arrested over garage arson attacks

A MAN has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of two arson attacks which caused more than £13,000 of damage.

Police said they arrested a man (41) at a Spotbrough address on Tuesday for the attacks, which happened in the early hours of August 8.

He was held on suspicion of two counts of arson not endangering life and was bailed pending further enquiries, a police spokeswoman said.

Two car garages were reportedly set alight, leaving more than £13,000 worth of damage.
