Sofa on Dearne Valley street set alight

Firefighters from Dearne station were called to the deliberate fire on Bolton Street at 8.50pm and were at the scene until 9.15pm, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

"It was an old sofa on fire which was outside," said the spokeswoman.
