Smokers blamed after smouldering settee sparks fire scare
Neighbours raised the alarm after spotting smoke which had spread into the Bartholomew Street property.
Three fire engines attended at about 7.50pm and the cause was recorded as accidental.

Hide AdA fire service spokeswoman said it was thought people had been smoking outside earlier in the day and the settee had been smouldering for several hours.
Later, firefighters were called to Halifax Avenue in Conisbrough after a chip pan fire.
A woman in her 50s had fallen asleep but the fire was out on arrival at about 10.15pm.
She was taken to hospital as a precaution.
