Slip roads affected by M1 roadworks in Rotherham

SLIP roads and stretches of motorway will be affected by roadworks over the coming week.

The northbound entry slip road at M1 junction 33 (Catcliffe) will be fully closed overnight tonight (Monday, October 15) for technology work.

The southbound exit slip road at M1 junction 32 (Thurcroft) will also be shut overnight tonight for the same reason.

The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes, Highways Agency said.

The A631 at Tinsley viaduct, where the northbound carriageway remains closed around the clock until Saturday, November 3.
