CAKES, spicy soups, salads and a large pot of tea - a school’s food festival had all the ingredients of a slap-up feast.

Pupils from Anston Greenlands Primary School treated parents to fabulous food from all over the world during their culinary celebration.

The event featured a Victorian-style tea room and food from the Caribbean, India and Italy, as well as cooking demonstrations and a Bake-Off competition for children and adults.

All proceeds will go to UNHCR, a charity which supports refugees across the world.
