Skip and lorry damaged in blaze

A FIRE in a skip caused damage to the vehicle that was carrying it.

The skip and lorry were in a building on Retford Road, Woodhouse Mill, and a fire crew spent two hours at the scene.

The building itself was not damaged.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said a crew was called out at 2am this morning and that the cause of the blaze was accidental.
