Six men armed with shotguns force burglary victims to hand over valuables

The reported burglary happened in Foljambe Drive, Dalton, at around midnight on Friday, June 11.

Police said the occupants were awoken by six men who had forced entry into the property.

“The men, armed with shotguns, threatened the victims and demanded they hand over valuables,” said a spokeswoman.

“Officers are now asking for anyone with information to come forward. 

“They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a white Nissan Juke or a dark blue Ford in the area at the time.”
