Six deliberate fires overnight
CARS and rubbish were set alight in six deliberate fires across the area overnight.
There were rubbish fires just after 9pm yesterday (Thursday) at Tummon Street in Holmes and New Droppingwell Road at Blackburn, followed by another just before 10pm at Barnsley Road at Goldthorpe.
More rubbish was set alight at Andrews Place in Thornhill at 10.20pm.
There were car fires at Kearsley Lane, Conisbrough, at 1.15am and on Ingsfield Lane in Bolton-on-Dearne at 4.50am.
