Described as a magical, moonlight-soaked reverie, filled with drama and intensity, in one moment a defiant cry and in the next a desperate whisper, the album has been likened to work by Nina Simone and Donny Hathaway.

Costelo will be at Sheffield’s Cafe 9, Nether Edge Road, on Sunday at 7.30pm.
