Show you are Proud of Rotherham’s NHS heroes

IT’S time to nominate your healthcare heroes ahead of this year’s annual Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Proud Awards.

The awards celebrate excellence in the health sector by recognising the town’s NHS colleagues who deliver community and hospital services.

Over the last few months, colleagues have pulled out all of the stops to ensure patients continue to receive the care they need during the coronavirus pandemic \_ so this is your opportunity to recognise your NHS heroes.

Trust chief executive Dr Richard Jenkins said: “We are truly thankful for the care that our staff provide each and every day, but it is sometimes easy to overlook the impact individuals and teams can have on a particular patient and their family.

“We would like to hear about these experiences and give those members of staff the recognition that they deserve.”

Last year’s awards saw over 400 nominations received overall.

Patients and members of the public are invited to nominate a healthcare professional for the Public Recognition Award.
