Shop staff threatened with knife in Rawmarsh

A MAN threatened convenience store staff with a knife before fleeing empty-handed.

His attempt to take the till was foiled by an employee at Sohal’s Mini Market, Rawmarsh.

Police investigating the incident, on Green Lane at 4.30pm on Wednesday, have released CCTV of a man they wish to trace.
