Seven £100 fines in one day for drinking in public

POLICE issued seven £100 fines for street drinking in one day.

Rotherham Central NHP said PCSOs had fined six people in Eastwood and one in the town centre.

All had been warned before or refused to surrender the alcohol, the police team said.
