Second blaze on Edlington street in four days

ARSONISTS started a fire in an unoccupied terraced house — just days after a similar blaze on the same street.

A fire was started in the kitchen of the dwelling on Princess Crescent, Edlington, which fire officers took half an hour to bring under control.

The incident happened at about 1.30pm yesterday.

Last Thursday, there was a blaze in the roof of two terraced houses which led to a cloud of smoke billowing across Edlington.
