Scrap theft suspects spotted with haul

A member of the public contacted officers after seeing two men carrying large boxes across Wortley Road near to the roundabout at Henley Rise at around 3.20am on September 5.

Police attended at the location and discovered a large amount of what is believed to be scrap metal.

The two men were arrested and are on police bail while officers make further enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the metal items in the photograph, or has any information, should contact police by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 105 5 September 5.
