School's appeal for memories as 50th anniversary approaches

A SCHOOL is appealing for former parents and staff to send in their old photos and memories as it prepares for a 50th anniversary celebration.

Wickersley Northfield Primary School will be welcoming back faces from the past on September 15.

Contributions to displays are being sought and former students, staff and governors with photographs are asked to drop them into school’s main reception.

All items, which will be safely returned, should be marked for the attention of Diane Sanderson the school business manager.

The school is also compiling a list of former staff and governors who will be attending so that their contribution can be acknowledged on the day.

If you are a former staff member or governor and you would like to attend, email or call Diane Sanderson at or on 01709 543704  including your name, role at the school and dates of service, plus your contact details.
