A SCHOOL advised parents to be vigilant after reports of children copying violence from hit Netflix series Squid Game.
The 15-certificate Korean show mimics children’s games but ends with losing participants being killed.
Maltby Learning Trust said parents should be aware of controls on apps like Tik-Tok and YouTube, which have been used to view the show.
The trust, which runs Maltby Academy, said: “There have been some concerning reports recently about children and young people ‘playing’ Squid Game whilst at school.
“Parents are advised to be vigilant about what children and young people are accessing and make sure the content is appropriate.”
