SPRINTING Santas pounded the paths alongside racing reindeer and the odd plucky pudding as a Christmas treat returned to Manvers.
Dozens of runners both young and old descended on Manvers Lake on Saturday for the annual Santa dash.
Combining a kids’ fun run and longer challenges for grown-up runners, the event was held in memory of Laurel Academy PE teacher Hana Szczepkowski, who died aged only 31 from cancer in 2016.
The annual event aims to keep Hana’s memory alive and raise funds for the cancer charity Team Verrico, who gave her hope and support throughout her illness.
