SPEEDING motorists will be targeted by mobile speed cameras as part of an on-going effort to stamp out dangerous driving.

Officers from the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership will patrolling nine of the borough’s busiest routes with the roadside speed detecting devices for a week starting from today.

SYSC teams will be patrolling the following routes: Meadow Bank Road, Kimberworth; Herringthorpe Valley Road, East Herringthorpe; Wortley Road and Upper Wortley Road, Kimberworth and Thorpe Hesley.

Other routes include: Doncaster Road, Dalton and Thrybergh; Bawtry Road and Rotherham Road, Hellaby and Maltby; Bawtry Road, Wickersley and Brecks; Doncaster Road, Wath; Fenton Road, Greasbrough; and Kilnhurst Road, Rawmarsh.
