Rubbish torched in Dearne Valley

ARSONISTS torched rubbish in Bolton-upon-Dearne last night.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called to Maori Avenue at 9.15pm and found rubbish on fire.

The crew left the scene at 9.35pm.

The fire is thought to have been started deliberately, said a spokesman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
