Rubbish set alight in Darfield

RUBBISH was deliberately set alight in Darfield last night (Monday).

Firefighters from Cudworth station were called to Snape Hill Road at 10.43pm where a large pile of rubbish had been deliberately set alight, a spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

They left the scene at 11.30pm, he added.
