Rubbish set alight in Aston

Firefighters from Aston station were called to the deliberate fire on Aughton Lane at 9.55pm and were at the scene for 15 minutes, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

Minutes later, at 10.15pm, firefighters from Aston station were called to Norwood Crescent, Kiveton Park, where a vehicle had been deliberately set on fire, the spokesperson added.

They were at the scene for 35 minutes.
