Rubbish set alight at Blackburn

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Blackburn after rubbish was deliberately set alight yesterday evening (Wednesday).

Crews from Elm Lane station attended Barber Wood Road shortly before 8pm and were there about 20 minutes.

Another deliberate rubbish fire was dealt with by Cudworth station firefighters on Smithley Lane in Wombwell at 9.20pm.
