FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a grassland fire in Maltby last night.

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a grassland fire in Maltby last night.

The fire is on Blyth Road, Maltby was reported at 7.05pm yesterday is believed to have been started deliberately.

The crew came away at 7.40pm.

Barnsley station attended an accidental fire involving bushes and grassland on the Dearne Valley Parkway at 7.40pm. 

The crew left the scene at 8.30pm.

A fire crew from Rotherham station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Henley Rise, Thornhill, at 8.30pm. The crew left 15 minutes later.
