Rubbish fire in Rotherham town centre

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a deliberate rubbish fire in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

A crew from Rotherham station was called to Wellgate at 1.20am and fought the blaze for around 15 minutes, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
