Rubbish and wheelie bins torched in Edlington

TWO wheelie bins and some rubbish were set alight in two separate incidents in Edlington last night (Tuesday).

A crew from Edlington station attended the scene of rubbish on fire in Roberts Road at 9.05pm.

Later, the crew found two wheelie bins ablaze in Edlington Lane at 2am.

"Both crews were at two incidents for around half an hour and the cause of both fires were deliberate," said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
