Rubbish and two wheelie bins set on fire across Rotherham overnight

FIREFIGTHERS from Rotherham were called out to three separate fire incidents across the borough last night.

FIREFIGTHERS from Rotherham were called out to three separate fire incidents across the borough last night. 

Crews attended rubbish and wheelie fires in Canklow, which happened just 20 minutes apart.

They went out to Canklow Road to the rubbish fire at 1am, and the wheelie bin fire at 1.20am, which was on Warden Street.

Another wheelie bin was deliberately torched at 5.25am on Bow Bridge Close, in Templeborough.

All three fires had been started deliberately, a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue confirmed.
