Rubbish and insulation destroyed in overnight arson attacks

ARSONISTS destroyed rubbish and packets of insulation in separate attacks overnight.

Firefighters from Aston were called to a rubbish fire on Lodge Lane, Dinnington at 10pm yesterday (Tuesday), a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

They left the scene at around 10.20pm.

A crew from Edlington station was called to Old Road, Conisbrough at 5.25am, where packets of household insulation had been set alight.

Both fires are believed to have been started deliberately.
