Royals back at Rotherham Hospice: VIDEO

THE Duke of Gloucester has praised staff at Rotherham Hospice for the "special" work they do.

HRH Prince Richard made the comments on a visit to the hospice on Thursday during a one-day tour of the South Yorkshire.

Chief executive Mike Wilkerson showed the duke around the building's new energy efficient wing and introduced him to charity volunteers.

HRH the Duchess of Gloucester opened the hospice in 1999 and her husband Prince Richard visited in 2007.
