RotherHop returns for town centre dance class

JAZZ fans can relive the swing era — and get Fighting Fit — with dance classes returning to the town centre on Monday.

RotherHop will host another Lindy hop class at 1915 Bar and Bistro, Domine Lane on April 24.

Starting at 7pm, the session will be hosted by a husband-and-wife team — Advertiser man Dave Doyle and Krissy Moore.

The one-hour lesson will be followed by freestyle dancing to swing classics, with special drinks offers for class participants.

The session costs £3 per person or £5 for two, as long as each partner dances a different role.

Proceeds will go into the Carnival Presents kitty, helping to finance this year’s Rotherham Carnival.
