Rotherham wakes up to a dusting of snow

ROTHERHAM has woken up to a covering of snow with wintry weather expected to disrupt New Year travel plans across the country.

The Met Office did warn of up to 10cm of snow for the highest parts of the borough but it seems to have not been as bad as first feared.

Snow showers are expected to linger until around noon before temperatures rise throughout the afternoon.
