Rotherham United's Clark Robertson completes move to Portsmouth

CLARK Robertson will face Rotherham United in League One next season after signing for Portsmouth.

The 27-year-old's switch to Pompey was confirmed last night, the former Aberdeen man signing a two-year deal.

Robertson will complete the move on July 1 when his contract with the Millers expires.

He joined from Blackpool in 2018 and helped win promotion from League One but was hampered by injuries, playing only 16 times last term.

Portsmouth finished two points outside the play-offs last season.

Manager Danny Cowley said: "It was very important for us to sign a left-sided centre-half in order to provide balance in that area of the pitch." 

The EFL fixtures for 2021/22 will be released at 9am tomorrow morning.
