ROTHERHAM United are being strongly linked with Lincoln City defender Cohen Bramall as the club looks to boost its defensive numbers.
The left-back has played well in previous matches against the Millers and unconfirmed reports say the club has triggered a release clause in his contract.
Bramall has versatiliy — he can play left-back, left wing-back and left wing — and occupies an area of the pitch Rotherham need to strenghthen after the departure of Joe Mattock and Mickel Miller.
Schooled at Arsenal, the 26-year-old had a loan stint at Birmingham City before moving to Colchester United. He signed for Lincoln 18 months ago and made 36 league and cup appearances for them last year.
Millers chief Paul Warne has brought in just one signing so far in striker Conor Washington and although talks continue with other individuals, we understand there will be no announcements about new arrivals today.
