Rotherham United forward agrees new deal
Jonson Clarke-Harris in action during the Championship finale against Derby

STRIKER Jonson Clarke-Harris has extended his stay at Rotherham United.

The 22-year-old has signed a new one-year deal which commits to next season's assault on League One.

A club record signing from Oldham Athletic three years ago, Clarke-Harris's progress stalled after he damaged cruciate knee ligaments in a warm-up game at Parkgate last summer.

He finally returned to action in April and has started the last two games of the Championship campaign, the draws with Preston and Derby.

In this week's online Advertiser poll, 86 per cent of voters wanted Clarke-Harris to be retained.
