Rotherham twins to face trial for murder
Isaiah Usen-Satchell

TWIN brothers will stand trial in December over the murder of a man on New Year’s Day.

Jacob Mwanza and Isaac Mwanza (both 19), of Rother View Road, Rotherham, have been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice in connection to the death of Sheffield man Isaiah Usen-Satchel (18, pictured).

The brothers appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday and remanded in custody.

Their trial is set to start on December 7 and expected to last seven days.

Neither brother entered a plea.

The charges relate to an incident in Sheffield at 4.20am on New Year’s Day after which Mr Usen-Satchell was found lying in the road with serious arm injuries.

He was taken to hospital, but died a short time later of a slash wound to his wrist.

Two other men, aged 20 and 22, who were arrested on suspicion of murder on January 1 and January 2, remain on police bail.
