Jacob Mwanza and Isaac Mwanza, both 19, of Rother View Road, Rotherham, have been on trial at Sheffield Crown Court for the murder of Sheffield man Isaiah Usen-Satchell (18, pictured) on January 1 this year.

But the jury in the trial were directed by Judge Peter Kelson to find both men not guilty of murder today (Wednesday) on the basis that there is no case to answer.

Jacob Mwanza was also cleared of a fresh charge of manslaughter by the jury at the judge's direction.

Isaac Mwanza, who has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter, has been released on bail and will return to Sheffield Crown Court on January 4 when the jury will continue their deliberations.

Usen-Satchell was found lying in the road on St Aiden's Road, Sheffield, at about 4.20am on New Year's Day following reports of a fight between a group of men.

He was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
