Rotherham twins charged with murder of Sheffield man Isaiah Usen-Satchell

TWINS from Rotherham have been charged over the murder of a man on New Year’s Day.

Jacob Mwanza and Isaac Mwanza, both 19, of Rother View Road, Rotherham, have been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice in connection to the death of Sheffield man Isaiah Usen-Satchell (18, pictured) on New Year’s Day.

They appeared before Sheffield Magistrates' Court today and were remanded in custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court. 

Police were called to St Aiden’s Road, Sheffield, at around 4.20am on New Year's Day, following reports of a fight between a group of men.

They found Mr Usen-Satchell lying in the road, with serious arm injuries. He was taken to hospital, but died a short time later.

A postmortem concluded he died of a slash wound to his wrist.

Two other men, aged 20 and 22, who were arrested on suspicion of murder on January 1 and January 2, remain on police bail at this time. 

South Yorkshire Police said they were still keen to hear from anyone with information or who witnessed the reported altercation.
