A ROTHERHAM-based student is among three men accused of secretly filming a girl having sex in a university dormitory.
George Iaponas (23) romped with the girl while his friends Lemar Garcia (20), and Shabar Hussain (21), hid under the bed with a camera, it is said.
Cyprus-born Iaponas, who gave his term-time address as Eden Close, Hellaby Lane, Rotherham, knew the pair were hiding below his bed at the University of Westminster's Alexander Fleming halls of residence in Hoxton Market, east London, say prosecutors.
The three were due to stand trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court in London this week but
Judge Neil Sanders adjourned the case until March 7 next year.
Iaponas, Hussain and Danish national Garcia are all understood to now be attending different universities.
Garcia, of Verwood Lodge, Manchester Road, Isle of Dogs, east London, Hussain, of Sutherland Avenue, Maida Vale, west London, and Iaponas, of Welland Street, Greenwich, southeast London, all deny voyeurism.
Hussain’s term time address was given as Doris Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham.
