Rotherham PC on indecent child images charge

A ROTHERHAM police officer will appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court tomorrow today in connection with the possession of indecent images.

PC Lee Lucas (38), who is based in Rotherham, has been served with a summons to appear at court in connection with 16 counts of possession of indecent images of children.

PC Lucas has been suspended from his duties as the investigation continues.

This is the result of an internal investigation by the force’s Professional Standards Department supervised by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
