Rotherham NHS Trust's record under microscope at meeting

MEMBERS of the public are invited to the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust’s annual general meeting.

The meeting, on Wednesday September 12, will include presentations on the annual report and accounts, a look back at the challenges and successes of the past year, and an overview of the trust’s strategy for the next three years from chief executive, Brian James.

Mr James said: “The whole of the public sector and the NHS in particular face a period of severe austerity as a consequence of the global financial crisis and its impact on the UK economy, and over the next few years the trust will have to fundamentally change the way many of its services are delivered if it is to remain a strong and resilient provider of health care in the borough.
