Rotherham man charged with hunting offences

A ROTHERHAM man will appear in court next month charged with rural crime and driving offences including hunting a wild mammal with dogs.

Edward Young (38), of High Nook Road, is charged with hunting a wild mammal with dogs, failing to stop, driving without insurance, driving without a valid licence and dangerous driving.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshure Police said: “His charges relate to an investigation by the Motorcycle and Rural Crime Team into driving a quad bike on Packman Lane in Rotherham on November 9, 2022, accompanied by a lurcher type dog.”

Young will appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court on June 12.
