A post-mortem examination found Mrs Woodhall died from multiple stab wounds.

Friends Donna Wetherall and Kelly Sims, who have known the victim for 20 years, described her as an "amazing daughter, friend and mother" who was "caring and loving".

The pair have set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money towards her funeral costs and to help support her three children. More than £5,600 has already been donated.

Ms Wetherall said: "Vicky was an amazing daughter, friend and mother to her three children and this tragedy has left us all devastated.

"She was a caring individual and would help anyone in need.
