POLICE have thanked Advertiser readers and visitors to our website for their part in tracking down a Rotherham man who was on the run from prison.
After the Advertiser published a picture and details of burglar Jason Grayson, he was arrested at the Cranworth Hotel, Fitzwilliam Road, in Eastwood over the weekend.
A police spokeswoman said: “He has been returned straight to prison where he will now stay until the end of his sentence.”
Officers are also hunting two other men and have appealed for the public’s help in finding them.
Daryl Garnett (28), from Rawmarsh, is wanted for failing to appear at court for driving offences, while Stephen Bouskill (34), also from Rawmarsh, absconded from an open prison while serving a sentence for drug offences.
