Rotherham Council reshuffle creates new "environment" role

A NEW post focusing on the environment has been created in a council reshuffle.

Cllr Sarah Allen (pictured) has been made Rotherham Borough Council’s Cabinet member for cleaner, greener communities.

Cllr Allen will be responsible for street cleaning and other Streetpride services, as well as libraries, leisure services, and parks, replacing Cllr Taiba Yasseen, who previously oversaw culture and leisure.
