Rotherham Central closed due to flood fears

A spokesperson from Travel South Yorkshire said Tram Train services were also suspended and national rail services diverted.

Train services between Doncaster and Sheffield will be diverted between Swinton and Meadowhall.

Passengers travelling to Rotherham Central should get off the train at Meadowhall and board a replacement bus service to Rotherham Central. 

Network Rail staff said it was currently monitoring water levels on-site.
