Rotherham businesses vying for awards glory

THE runners and riders in the race to be crowned Rotherham’s best business have been revealed.

Sixty nominees are listed in 12 categories for the annual Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards at Magna on Friday, October 13.

entries for the awards, which will also see a Lifetime Achievement Award presented.

    One outstanding company will be named Business of the Year.

    Chamber chief executive Andrew Denniff said: “We’d like thank everyone who submitted entries this year, the standard was particularly high and the judges were faced with some very difficult decisions. 

    “Everyone who has secured a place on the shortlist should be proud of their achievements over the past 12 months.

    “This year saw a high number of entries submitted, reflecting the sheer the diversity of the local business economy and we look forward to welcoming all the finalists to our celebration evening in October.”
