ROTHERHAM United secured their first win six games at the expense of Oxford United on Saturday—much to the delight of manager Ronnie Moore.
Adam Le Fondre struck his 15th and 16th goals of the season to seal a 2-1 win at Don Valley Stadium which keeps the Millers in sixth spot in League Two.
Moore said: "It was a good win and we deserved it. We were the better side.
"The first ten minutes was a bit ropeyish but after that we played some excellent stuff and 2-1 makes it sound an awful lot closer than it was.
"We had enough chances to see them off but it was nice to get the win."
Moore handed a debut to Danny Coid, in on loan from Blackpool to cover for injuries in defence.
The Millers chief said: "He hadn't played for a while but he came in and showed some great quality. He's two-footed and he will be a massive bonus for us."
