Robber steals delivery driver’s van

THE delivery driver of a van was pinned against the outside of his vehicle by a robber who grabbed the keys and stole the vehicle.

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery in Wales just before noon last Wednesday.

 

The driver was making a delivery on Cherry Tree Road when he was threatened and his van was stolen.

    A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “It is believed that an unknown offender got out of a black Ford Fiesta, held the man up against his white Peugeot van, took his vehicle keys and drove off in the vehicle. 

     

    “Officers are now keen to trace the man in the CCTV image as they believe he can assist with their enquiries.”
